Journey Bank Announces New Positions

Bloomsburg, PA – Journey Bank announces Sandy Smith as Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator and the newest addition to its lending team. Sandy was previously a Community Office Manager at the bank’s Buckhorn and Lightstreet locations in Bloomsburg. Sandy’s banking career has spanned more than 30 years, and prior to serving as Community Office Manager, she specialized in mortgage underwriting for the bank. Jeff Whitenight, Executive Vice President and Retail Banking Manager, offers, “Sandy knows our area well and understands the banking and financing needs of individuals and families in our region. With her depth of mortgage experience and customer service orientation, she will be a go-to mortgage expert for home buyers.”
In addition, Journey Bank announces the promotion of Katelyn Acevedo to Assistant Vice President, Community Office Manager at the bank’s Buckhorn location. Katelyn has been with the bank for five years and has held positions as Assistant Community Office Manager, Customer Service Representative, and Senior Teller. Krista Dyer, Vice President of Branch Administration shared, “In her new role, we look forward to Katelyn’s continued leadership and focus on delivering customer service excellence.”
