September 23, 2024 - Customer Notice - Debit & ATM Card Fraud Incident

We recently learned that some customers have had their debit/ATM card information compromised by an ATM withdrawal fraud scheme.

We strongly encourage all our customers to review their accounts and transaction activity regularly and notify us immediately if there are any unauthorized ATM withdrawals on their accounts. Any losses incurred due to this fraudulent activity will be reimbursed.

If you believe your card was compromised by this incident, please call our Customer Support Team at 570.784.1660. We will work with you to complete a dispute form. We will cancel your card and order a replacement. If you need a new card immediately, a temporary card can be issued at any of our community office locations.

This is a criminal matter, and we are currently working with local law enforcement. At this time, we are researching to determine the full scope of this fraud. Please check back here, on our website, for additional information as it becomes available.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes our customers. Please note that your account information has not been compromised and remains secure. We take the security of our customers' accounts very seriously and will work with all affected customers to resolve as quickly as possible.

To help ensure the security of your debit card, we encourage our customers to set up card controls. You can manage your card with a free card control feature within the Journey Bank Mobile App. With Card Controls you can:

  • Turn your debit card on or off
  • Receive instant purchase alerts on your mobile device
  • Set merchant preferences and threshold amounts
  • Limit usage based on location
